The Challenge

As a global leader in sustainable building solutions, Deceuninck needed a digital platform that could effectively serve multiple European markets while maintaining a cohesive brand experience. Each country had unique product offerings and customer needs, requiring a structured yet flexible approach to localization.

The challenge was twofold:

  • Scalability – The platform had to support different languages, product ranges, and content variations across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.

  • User experience & navigation – With such a diverse audience, it was crucial to ensure an intuitive way for users to find relevant content, whether they were homeowners, architects, or fabricators.

Additionally, strategic decisions regarding domain structure, SEO optimization, and technical architecture needed to be made early on to avoid unnecessary complexity further down the line.

The solution

We started with project discovery workshops to define key functionalities and map out the specific needs of each market. From there, we created clickable wireframes and a design prototype, allowing for early validation by key stakeholders.

Development was executed using an iterative SCRUM approach, ensuring continuous refinement based on real user feedback. The final result is a flexible, well-structured platform that supports Deceuninck’s business across multiple regions.
